MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Mid-Ohio ESC Business Advisory Council, in partnership with the Crawford Success Center, North Central State College and Crawford County school districts, held an End of the Year Celebration on May 1, 2026 to recognize the participating students’ accomplishments and certifications. The event brought together students, educators and community partners to celebrate the achievements and future contributions of local high school juniors and seniors.
The morning began with refreshments, networking and a warm welcome from TurboCert Program Coordinator Kevin Fourman, followed by a motivational anecdote from MOESC’s Amy Wood, Director of Grants and Special Projects. Attendees then enjoyed engaging presentations from Crawford Partnership Executive Director Makenna Laser, North Central State College President Dr. Dorey Diab and Crawford Success Center Facility Manager Nate Harvey.
A special recognition ceremony honored each student, with certificates and credentials presented by MOESC and personalized student comments delivered by Superintendent Kevin Kimmel.
The 2025-2026 Crawford County TurboCert students represented five of the six Crawford County school districts with a total of 23 unique and individual students for the year.

In addition to the student’s individual achievements, the Crawford County TurboCert celebrated its own wins this year including adding a year-long (32 Fridays) Phlebotomy Technician program with nine students. To date, eight of the nine students have taken their examination, and all eight have passed. The program’s second semester courses also saw:
· 100% passage rate in the drone program with six credentials earned
· 100% passage rate in the 5G Wireless Infrastructure Association program with five credentials earned
· 100% passage rate in the Fanuc Robotics program with 3 credentials earned
· 100% passage rate in the NIMS, Measurement, Materials and Safety program with 3 credentials earned

Taking place at the Crawford Success Center, the TurboCert program offers high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials in 5G Readiness, Phlebotomy, Robotics in Advanced Manufacturing and Drone Operations and Safety. TurboCert is a dynamic, fast-paced initiative that equips high school students with industry-recognized credentials in high-demand fields.
