MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Authorities have apprehended a man wanted in connection with the death of his child in May 2024. Alex Morris, 31, was arrested on Thursday in Morrow County, Ohio.
The U.S. Marshals Service located Morris at a residence on Township Road 164 in Cardington, where he was believed to have been living in hiding.
This arrest follows an investigation initiated by the Mansfield Police Department into the death of a 3-year-old, initially reported as a choking incident. Subsequent findings from the investigation determined that the child was a victim of murder, prompting the search for Morris.
