Galion Key Club hosting 5K run and carnival for charity

The Galion High School Key Club is excited to host a 5K Charity Run and Carnival May 16. The event is a student-organized fundraiser for The Thirst Project.

The pre-registration period ends April 16. Entry fee for this event is $20 per person, which includes an event t-shirt. Registration costs will increase to $25 following the pre-registration period.

“The Thirst Project provides healthy drinking water to areas in the world that do not have access to clean drinking water,” Galion Key Club webmaster Tristan Gosser said. “We are excited to host this event and hope to make it an annual event.”

Race day registration will be held from 8-9:30 a.m. at the Galion High School, with the race starting at 10 a.m. Food and games will be available at the high school from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
