Shaynna Branham, 36, of Bucyrus was sentenced to 24 months in prison by Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold. Branham was convicted of identity fraud in 2017 and placed on community control.
Branham violated the terms and conditions of her probation when she failed to report for office visits Feb. 9. She also tested positive for cocaine, opiates, morphine and fentanyl while on probation. She will receive credit for jail time served.

In other court proceedings, two men appeared before Leuthold for extradition hearings. Shawn Smothers and Dakota Roberts waived their right to extradition.
Leuthold prepared the order giving Indiana authorities ten business days to take custody of the two men.

David W. Hall, 40, of Galion appeared in Common Pleas Court to hear an indictment returned against him and to address bail. Hall was a passenger in a car driven by his brother on suspicion of OVI.
Hall was found in possession of K-2 synthetic marijuana. Leuthold appointed attorney Joel Spitzer to defend Hall and set his bond at $50,000.

Richard Holland II, 20, of Crestline will spend the next 360 days in jail. Holland pleaded guilty to two charges of disrupting public service and domestic violence.
Assistant Prosecutor Ryan Hoovler advised the court that he had contact with the victim and she was aware of the possible plea and had voiced no objections.
“Have you followed all the protocol now required under the new conditions outlined in Marcy’s Law? “ Leuthold asked.
Hoovler replied that he had indeed made all attempts to keep the victim informed during the process. Holland was given a report date of May 4 at 7 p.m. to the Crawford County Justice Center.

Cameron J. Patterson, 26, of Bucyrus was placed on five years of community control following his admission to possession of drugs. A violation of those conditions will result in one year in prison. Patterson appeared with his attorney Joel Spitzer.
Leuthold addressed Patterson before sentencing.
“I’ve been a nice guy here today, but I want to warn you,” Leuthold said. “If you go back to drugs, you’ll see me in a whole different light. I’m sure you’ve heard of my reputation. K-2 is a dangerous synthetic drug. Who knows what is in it. I’ve seen people have hallucinations, and go all kinds of crazy. Stay away from this stuff. Do well, and stay out of trouble.”
