UPDATE: 1:30 p.m.

CRESTLINE – The all clear was given by law enforcement after bomb-sniffing dogs from Cleveland State University, Kent State University and the University of Akron searched the building with their handlers.

No threatening materials were found inside the building.

CRESTLINE – Students have been evacuated from Crestline Exempted Village Schools after a bomb threat was found Wednesday morning.

 

Crestline High School Principal Keith Strickler said students reported a threat in a bathroom stall written in permanent marker in the high school wing.

The threat found at approximately 9:15 a.m. and said a bomb was in the school.

Students were moved by bus to the administrative building as a result of the threat.

The Crestline Police Department and Crawford County Sheriff’s Office performed the initial sweep and the Ashland County Bomb Squad was called for K-9 Services.

Parents were notified of the situation with a message sent from school administration.

Students may be picked up at the administrative building.
