After winter weather delayed the ceremony by three weeks Buckeye Central welcomed its Hall of Fame Class of 2014 Saturday afternoon.

Jan Bates, Travis Vanderpool and the 1986 Buckeye Central Buckettes volleyball team were enshrined Saturday evening as the newest members of the Buckeye Central Hall of Fame in front family, friends, and fans.

Bates was introduced by his son and daughter John Bates and Casey Bates. Bates served most recently as athletic director for the school, but coached nearly each sport at Buckeye Central during his 27 years in the district.
