BUCYRUS — Emergency crews responded to a motorcycle vs car injury crash in rural Bucyrus on Tuesday morning.
According to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Ohio 98 when he laid his motorcycle down while avoiding a collision with another vehicle at the intersection of Ohio 98 and Ohio 294.
The two vehicles never made contact.
The motorcyclist reportedly told first responders the other vehicle involved fled the scene.
The motorcyclist suffered injuries that were considered minor and he was transported to Bucyrus Community Hospital by Portsmouth Emergency Ambulance Services. He was wearing a helmet.
Dallas Township Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the crash. Knecht’s Towing was contacted to remove the motorcycle from the scene.
