The City of Bucyrus’s compost site, located at the Bucyrus Wastewater Treatment Plant at 1500 W. Southern Ave., will be open for Bucyrus residents. The hours of operation will be from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 29, April 5, April 12, April 19, and April 26.
Please note that this site is for yard waste of Bucyrus residents only. Please be prepared to provide photo I.D. showing proof of residency. Commercial waste will not be accepted.
Yard waste to be accepted consists of leaves, grass clippings, brush, garden waste, tree trunks and stumps, holiday trees, and clippings from trees or shrubs.
All waste must be removed from bags or containers.
The City of Bucyrus has the right to refuse waste materials it feels are not in compliance.
