Galion police aren’t searching for the Sweet Mary Jo that Tony Orlando once pined for, but they are on the lookout for someone with lots of rings – 36 to be exact.
The Mid-Ohio Motor Sports pawn shop on Harding Way East reported the theft of $10,000 worth of jewelry late Tuesday afternoon.
“That’s what the guy is reporting,” Galion Police Chief Brian Saterfield said. “It’s basically rings, 36 men’s and women’s rings.”
The police report indicates the jewelry was taken from a glass case in the store and that the theft was captured on video. Saterfield said the police still do not have a still photo from the video. Saterfield does ask anyone with information regarding the incident to call the Galion Police Department at 419-468-9111.
