BUCYRUS―An unusual one-vehicle crash is being investigated by the Bucyrus Police Department.
According to police, Bailey Pierce, 29, Canton, said she suffered a medical issue while at Oakwood Cemetery, causing her to drive her vehicle over several grave sites. A large stone was moved several feet from the impact of the crash.
Michael A. Eldridge, 26, Bucyrus, was a passenger in Pierce’s vehicle and said they were at the cemetery to visit his grandfather’s grave. He was arrested on a probation violation by officers at the scene of the crash.
The incident remains under investigation and the vehicle was towed from the scene by Hensley Towing LLC.
