The previous cold spells seemed to be a deterrent for criminals but the warm weekend weather certainly had the arrests stacking up. A total of 18 people were arrested across the county over the past week.

Galion officers arrested 13 people between Feb. 17 and 23. The round of arrests began with fifty-two-year-old Robert W. Oldham for disorderly conduct. Also arrested during the week-long period were: forty-one-year-old Martha A. Morris (permitting minor to operate vehicle, operating vehicle without a license); twenty-one-year-old Madeline Nicole Crow (failure to appear); forty-year-old Charles K. Chatman of Crestline (failure to appear); twenty-four-year-old Michael L. Trombly; twenty-two-year-old John Kyle Wyman of Bellville (OVI); thirty-two-year-old Jared E. Love (theft, drug paraphernalia); twenty-two-year-old Marissa Danielle Donohue (failure to appear, obstructing official business); twenty-three-year-old Levi C. Aller (two charges of disorderly conduct); thirty-year-old Lee M. Cisler (operating under FRA suspension, Morrow County warrant); fifty-year-old James D. Kempton of Caledonia (OVI); thirty-eight-year-old Terre A. Stevens (driving under suspension, Richland County warrant, Mansfield Police Department warrant, Erie County warrant); and thirty-three-year-old Aaron L. Shellhorn (Richland County warrant).

It was a busy Saturday night for Bucyrus police officers. Forty-one-year-old Jason Predieri was arrested at his residence on a Huron County warrant. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center
to await transport to Huron County.

A short time later, Brad Mullins was arrested in the 900 block of Wingert St. on a Crawford County warrant. He was issued a date to appear in court and was released.

Two additional arrests were made Monday night on Broadway Alley. Twenty-two-year-old Matthew Rister and twenty-four-year-old Dustin Burdell were charged with having an open container. Both men were issued misdemeanor citations for the open container and released.

Bucyrus police officers responded to a call about a vehicle stuck on the railroad tracks early Sunday morning. Twenty-three-year-old Ashley Mullins was arrested in the area of Sandusky Ave. and Galen St. at 4:18 a.m. Sunday on charges of OVI and drug paraphernalia. She was issued a citation and released.

The Crawford County Justice Center found itself with two additional guests on Monday. One of whom was there for not coming when he was supposed to the first time.

Galion police arrested James Rumbarger as a result of two local warrants issued for not reporting to jail. Crestline police arrested Terry Hildebrand on a charge of failing to appear for a review hearing on an original charge of OVI. Both men are scheduled to appear in Municipal Court.
