LOUSVILLE, Ky — A Colonel Crawford graduate earned All-American honors while she and her teammates proved to be some of the best in the country during a competition at the North American International Livestock Exposition on Nov. 13.

Jenna Siegel, a 2018 Colonel Crawford graduate, was a member of the team representing Ohio in the National 4-H Livestock Judging Contest. The Ohio team represented one of the 33 states present. The contest fielded 123 competitors.

Siegel and her teammates evaluated ten classes of livestock, gave four sets of oral reasons and answered three sets of questions.

As a team, they placed first in sheep and goats, sixth in cattle, 10th in oral reasons, and ended fifth overall in the contest.

Other team members were Josh Strine, Marion County; Katie Feldmann, Warren County; and Karter Converse, Wood County. Coaches for the Ohio team were Greg Meyer of Warren County and JoAnn Fogle of Marion County.

Individually, Jenna Siegel was third in sheep and goats, eighth in reasons, 10th-high individual and became a 4-H Livestock Judging All-American. Converse also became an All-American.
