ATTICA — Local families will have a chance to take part in “40 acres of family fun,” this weekend as the summer edition of the Oak Ridge Festival north of Attica is set to take place.
The summer festival on July 21-22 features handmade crafts from more than 150 vendors, antique farming displays, live music at four separate locations, food from more than 20 vendors and other historical displays.
Activities for the kids include a one-room school, a barnyard, crafts, face painting and a tiny tots train ride.
The July edition of the festival features military camps and displays, a classic car show Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and a tractor pull Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, $4 for children 8-12 years old and children 7 years old and younger are free with a paid adult.
The festival includes free parking and a shuttle from the parking lot and it is handicap accessible.
