If you have to go to the emergency room, it’s always best to have the proper identification—and if you don’t, it’s best if you don’t use the address of a hospital employee.

A Bucyrus police officer was requested at the Bucyrus Community Hospital on the morning of Jan. 10 in reference to an emergency room patient that had used an invalid identity. Thirty-five-year-old Donald S. Boozer, of Fredricktown, unknowingly claimed an address that belonged to a hospital employee. Some of the personal information provided belonged to a female. Other inconsistencies were also found. Police arrested Boozer and charged him with falsification, identity theft, and obstructing justice. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center pending bond.

A traffic stop Friday evening near the intersection of Hopley Ave. and S. Walnut St. led to the arrest of thirty-eight-year-old Jeremy L. Lewis. The Bucyrus man was charged with driving under suspension, drug paraphernalia, possessing drug abuse instruments and possessing marijuana drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.

Officers responding to a report of a subject trespassing at a residence and walking with a crossbow were soon led in a merry chase Saturday afternoon. Police chased thirty-five-year-old Anthony S. Pfeifer on a short foot pursuit to the 1000 block of Wingert St. before arresting him in the 1300 block of N. Sandusky Ave. Pfeifer was charged with resisting arrest, cruelty to animals and possessing drug paraphernalia. Pfeifer was transported to the county jail to await a court appearance.

Bucyrus police responded to a report of a dispute involving three males Saturday night. Twenty-nine-year-old Simon A. Harris of Marion was arrested on a Crawford County warrant and was later released pending a court appearance.

Officers arrested two people at a Plymouth St. residence late Saturday night. Thirty-six-year-old Stephanie Kegley was arrested, charged with domestic violence, and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center. Forty-year-old Mark Kegley was arrested on a Crawford County warrant and was released pending a court appearance.

A report of a man lying in an alley in the 600 block of W. Perry St. Sunday morning led police to arrest thirty-year-old Jason D. Nelson for disorderly conduct by intoxication. He was held at the Crawford County Justice Center until he was sober.

Sixty-nine-year-old John L. Harriger had been arrested at his residence Sunday afternoon and charged with domestic violence. He was taken to the county jail to await a court appearance.

You know you are having a bad week when you find yourself on the wrong side of the law. For 11 people in Galion it was a bad week last week and for one man it was double the problems being arrested twice in the seven-day span.

James Mongomery, 34, of Crestline was arrested at 11:05 a.m. on Jan. 6 on unspecified charges along with Joseph Shull 31, of Marion in the 400 block of Fairview Avenue in Galion. Montgomery was arrested again four days later on a Warrant issued by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office at the same residence at 5:27 p.m. after police were called to the residence to remove the subjects while the owner of the residence is incarcerated. Montgomery was released and given a court date of Jan. 15 at Municipal Court West.

Joseph Sackman, 30, of Lima Ohio was arrested at 1:56 a.m. on Jan. 11 in the 500 block of Galion Arms CT. Galion for possessing drug abuse instruments. Things went downhill from there for Sackman as he was also wanted on a warrant out of Mansfield. Sackman was transferred to Mansfield and placed in custody of Mansfield P.D.

Jesse Disbennett arrested at 5:29 p.m. in the 500 block of Second Avenue in Galion on Jan. 12 on a Misdemeanor Warrant out of Morrow County. When officers approached Disbennett began to run on foot, Disbennett was apprehended shortly after. Upon search of Disbennett officers found drug paraphernalia.

Joseph Brisboy of Galion was arrested at 2:27 a.m. for OVI when Brisboy’s vehicle was stopped for a signal violation as well as a stop bar violation Brisboywas released to a sober driver.

Richard Javens III, 29, with no known address was arrested at 425 Libby LN1 Galion at 9:30 on Jan. 8. Javens was charged with theft without consent.

Jeffery Olszko, 25, of Galion was arrested in the 1000 block of Harding Way East. Olszko was charged with receiving stolen property.

Michael J. Barber, 33, of Crestline was arrested at 11:33 p.m. on Jan. 7 in the 200 block of Libby LN1, Galion, on a warrant for failure to appear.

On Jan. 8, Michael Saunders, 25, of Galion was arrested at 5:53 p.m. for theft without consent in the 300 block of Gill Ave Galion.

Eli Brown, 35, of Marion, Ohio was arrested at 8:47 p.m. on Jan. 6 on unspecified charges.

Donald C. Ray, 25, of Galion was arrested on unspecified charges in the 500 block of Galion Arms CT1A at 5:21 a.m. on Jan. 11.
