The Galion baseball team lost for the first time this season on Monday night. The Tigers dropped an MOAC contest at home to Marion Harding by the score of 7-3.

Galion is now 1-1 in the MOAC and 2-1 on the season.

The visiting Presidents put up three runs in their first two at-bats and never looked back. Marion Harding is now 2-0 and 5-1.

Garrett Kuns was tagged with the lost for the Tigers. He fanned four and walked two in giving up six hits and four runs in four innings of work. Ryan Talbott and Ryan Utz worked in relief.

Mac Spears and Utz each had two hits to lead the Tigers’ offense. Talbott and Utz each were credited with RBIs.

In baseball games involving N10 teams Bucyrus took care of Crestline 3—1 in a non-conference contest. In league games Carey defeated Upper Sandusky 9-5, Mohawk edged Colonel Crawford 4-3, Wynford dominated Ridgedale 12-0, and Seneca East blanked Buckeye Central 13-0.

On the softball diamonds Crestline knocked off Bucyrus 4-1, Upper Sandusky doubled Carey 8-4, Colonel Crawford roughed up Mohawk 12-2, Ridgedale clobbered Wynfrd 21-3, and Seneca East had little trouble with Buckeye Central in an 11-2 win.
