The Bucyrus Redmen had their season come to an end Friday night in the Division III sectional finals in Monroeville against the Edison Charges.
With four minutes to go in the first quarter Bucyrus was up 6-4, however the Chargers would electrify the Redmen for 20 straight points and didn’t look back on their way to a 72-40 victory.
Clinton Carr would lead Bucyrus scorers with 9 points.
Bucyrus finishes their season with a 3-20 record.
Edison’s James Hill led all scorers in the game with 19 points. Bryce Ostheimer added 14 points.
Edison improves to 14-9 on the season and will play Margaretta in the Division III district semifinals at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 9.
