A 25-year-old Bucyrus man could be facing up to 16 years in prison following his arraignment on six felony counts, including aggravated robbery.

Adrian Gallegos pleaded not guilty in Crawford County Common Pleas Court to felony 1 aggravated robbery, felony 5 inducing panic, and four counts of felony 5 drug possession. At the request of Gallegos, Judge Sean Leuthold appointed attorney James Mayer as defense counsel and then set bond at $1 million.

According to Crawford County Prosecutor Matthew Crall, Gallegos allegedly walked into CVS Pharmacy in Bucyrus on Nov. 19. After requesting paper and something to write with, Crall said Gallegos wrote down a list of drugs he wanted and told the clerk he had a bomb and a gun with him. The store was evacuated resulting in the charge of inducing panic, and Gallegos was allowed to leave the premises with the drugs he had asked for.

Crall then explained to the court that Gallegos had left his wallet behind on the store counter from which police obtained his address and later arrested him. While drugs matching the ones taken from the store were found at the Gallegos’ residence, Crall said no bomb or gun were recovered.
