Meet Crawford Park District Naturalist, Warren Uxley, at the Heckert Nature Preserve for a fall hike. The last flowering plants and insects of the year can be seen along the trail at Heckert. Everything from dragonflies to migrating warblers is possible during this time of seasonal transition. Heckert Nature Preserve is located at 1601 State Route 19 west of State Route 602.
