The Northern 10 Conference teed off for its inaugural girls golf tournament on Monday at Valley View. Buckeye Central won the tournament with a composite four-player 18-hole score of 436.

Runner-up among the five schools who fielded teams was Wynford with a 449.

The Lady Royals had the tournament medalist. Annika Gerlach turned in a scorecard of 100. Rachel Bell of Bucyrus was just four shots back with a 104.

The rest of the team scores were Seneca East with 513, Bucyrus with 524 and Mohawk with 541. Upper Sandusky had two golfers on the course which did qualify the Lady Rams for the team competition.

The top five individual scores in addition to Gerlach and Bell all played for the Buckettes. They were Lexi Biglin with a 106, Tori Thimmes with a 108, and Sara Stacklin with a 109.

Gerlach had the low 9-hole score on the front side with a 49 and Thimmes shot a 47 on the back.
