Three people, all from Mansfield were injured late Saturday afternoon when a motorcycle tried to pass a car at the intersection of Nazor Road and St. Rt. 309.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office reports 54-year-old Lester Johnson was operating a motorcycle on St. Rt. 309 and had 49-year-old Daphne Long riding with him as a passenger on the motorcycle. When Johnson tried to pass another vehicle his motorcycle struck a pick-up truck on Nazor Road operated by 36-year-old Tammera Herbsleb.
Johnson and Long were transported to Galion Community Hospital from the scene. Herbsleb’s injuries were minor and her passenger was uninjured.
Johnson was cited for illegal passing and refusing to submit to a blood-alcohol test.
