Police departments across the county had a busy week last week after totaling sixteen unrelated arrests.
Galion police arrested nineteen-year-old Zachariah Xavier Zacharzuk on Sept. 3 for theft in the area of Harding Way East.
Crestline police arrested Courtney Deldee McRoberts of Crestline for possession of crack cocaine on Sept. 4. She is being held for court.
A report of suspicious individuals led to Bucyrus police arresting Lane M. Biederman of Bucyrus on Sept. 5. Biederman was charged with possession of drug abuse instruments. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene and arrested Alex Straub for possession of heroin. Both individuals are being held in lieu of bond or a hearing.
Four others were arrested in Galion on unrelated, unspecified charges on Thursday. The arrests included thirty-year-old Jarrod Lynn Simpson; twenty-one-year-old Megan N. Fox, twenty-three-year-old Roxann A. Walker; and thirty-two-year-old Morgan James Minamyer.
Twenty-year-old Tyler Jeffrey of Galion was arrested on Sept. 6. Twenty-eight-year-old Shannon Evans was arrested that same day at the Bucyrus Walmart for shoplifting, criminal trespass and possession of heroin. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to await a court appearance. Bucyrus police arrested Jacob Morgan for possession of drug paraphernalia on Saturday.
Seven others were arrested on various charges across the county on Sunday.
Bucyrus police arrested twenty-three-year-old Christopher Grasley in the 500 block of Failor Street on a Crawford County warrant and resisting arrest. Grasley had been spotted on Wheeler Avenue near Lions Park and fled on foot. Officers pursued him on foot and caught Grasley shortly afterwards.
Twenty-five-year-old Levi D. Yates of Galion was arrested on Sept. 8. Twenty-four-year-old Kelly Michelle Burns of Bucyrus was arrested that same day on drug possession charges. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brandon Townsend of Shelby for failure to appear at his arraignment. He is being held for court. Bucyrus police arrested Randall Dwight Allen of Bucyrus for domestic violence while Crestline police arrested Curtis Levi Jeffrey Newcome for receiving stolen property, possession of drugs and underage consumption and Stephen Fletcher of Mansfield for theft and receiving stolen property. Allen, Newcome and Fletcher are being held for court.
