The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office conducted a drug sweep of a different kind this past week.
On Sept. 3 and 4, members of the Sheriff’s Office and agents from the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation conducted an annual sweep of the county for marijuana eradication. A total of 226 marijuana plants were removed from planted fields within the county with the majority of the plants being located in the northeast part of the county. The plants will now be destroyed.
No arrests were made in the sweep.
