Western Reserved scored the first 11 points and never trailed in defeating Galion 65-47 last night at the boys Division 3 District Semi-Finals at Norwalk High School.

The loss knocks Galion out of the state basketball tournament as they finish the season at 12-12.
Galion was led in scoring by senior Colton Moore with 25 points. Senior Gavin Ratcliff added 11.

The Roughriders were led by freshman Jaret Griffity who finished with 20 points on six 3-pointers.

Western Reserve will face Edison Saturday night at 7 for the district title at Norwalk. Edison defeated Willard 57-40.
