Three men were given a new lease on life as they were granted Judicial Releases Tuesday afternoon in the Crawford County Court of Common Pleas.
Joshua Smith, Dustin Harper and Terry Hunter were all given their release Tuesday as Judge Russell B. Wiseman held their hearings simultaneously. All three were placed on Community Control for three years.
After granting their release Judge Wiseman addressed the three by saying, “If you don’t make this work you will have to serve the rest of your sentences, good luck.”
Mathew Chillik, 19 of Willard, Ohio, changed his plea Tuesday afternoon to guilty. Chillik admitted to charges that on September 15, 2012 he had sexual conduct with a minor. As a result Chillik was given five years of Community Control, and has to register every 180 days in person for the next twenty five years as a tier two sexual offender. Chillik will also have to pay a $750 fine plus court costs.
Lonnie Clevenger, 42, of Galion, Ohio changed his plea to guilty on a Felony 4 Domestic Violence charge. Clevenger was sentenced to 3 years Community Control, along with paying a $750 fine plus court costs.
