SANDUSKY, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—In an incident reported by Cleveland TV media, Sandusky police have confirmed the arrest of a man accused of capturing lewd videos and photographs of tens of thousands of women without their consent.Â
The investigation revealed that the suspect used a hidden camera to target women, focusing on their private areas while walking around Cedar Point amusement park.
The disturbing allegations came to light in September when two women reported to Cedar Point security that they felt they were being followed by a man who was taking their pictures. This prompted an immediate investigation by the police.
The suspect, identified as Anthony Engler, was initially ordered to leave the park after security became aware of his behavior. However, he reportedly changed clothes and reentered Cedar Point without paying. Authorities later apprehended him after he was spotted again within the park.
He was indicted earlier this month on several charges including voyeurism, menacing by stalking, and breaking and entering.
