MORRAL (Crawford County Now) — Karter Boggs continued his distance dominance here on Saturday.
The Bucyrus senior captured the 1600 meters in 4:27.36 and then won the 3200 meters in 9:59.61 at the Dave Schorr Invitational at Ridgedale High School.
Both Redmen boys’ and girls’ teams finished fourth. Rittman won both divisions.
Ivan Pirnstill won top honors in the pole vault at 13 feet, 6 inches. He took second in the long jump with a 17 feet, 7.5-inch effort.
Hayden Ginn took third in the discus with a throw of 129 feet, 2 inches. Anderson (AJ) Griffin took sixth in the 1600.
Mya Ditmars got third in the girls high jump at 4 feet, 4 inches. Peyton Fackler took fourth in the long jump at 13 feet, 8.5 inches.
Lilian Engelhorn took fourth in the girls discus throw at 85-feet, 4.25 inches. Savannah Clark (81, 11.75) took seventh and fifth in the shot put at 30 feet, .5-inch.
Crestline took seventh in girls and ninth in boys.
Junior Bridget Belcik got fifth in the discus at 84 feet, 8 inches and sixth in the shot put at 29 feet, 8.5 inches.

Shelby Invitational
SHELBY — Wynford and Mohawk competed in the Shelby High School Invitational.
Wynford’s girls got third place and the Royal boys fifth.
Megan Young secured second place in the girls 400 meters in 1:02.71 and fourth in the long jump in 14 feet, 7.25 inches. She added fifth in the 200 meters with a PB of 28.42.
Allison Brewer, Willa Johnson, Eden Cassaro and Young claimed second in the girls 4X200 in 1:52.05.
Logan Wright got a personal best and a first place in the boys shot put, with a 47-feet, 6.25-inch toss. Wright took second in the discus with a 133-feet, 5-inch throw, another PB.
Evan Stacklin was third in the boys 800 meters in 2:08.66. Brennen Westrick finished fourth in the 1600 meters in 4:58.02.
Jenna Filliater got third in the girls high jump clearing 4 feet, 8 inches. Gwen Collene placed third in the pole vault in 7 feet, 6 inches.
Madisyn Watkins ran the 110-meter hurdles in 18.97 to get fifth place.
The boys 4X100 relay of Bryce Locker, Maddax Engler, Kaden Bils and Ezra Roth finished third in 46.28. The 4X800 relay also got third as Westrick, Josh Rindfuss, Evan Bessinger and Stacklin ran a 9:04.79 time.
Locker took third in the high jump at 5 feet, 10 inches.
Mohawk’s Jett Loesser took first in the 800 meters in 2:07.25. It marked a season best for the junior.
John Stansberry took second in the boys 100 meters in 11.52. Stansberry also finished fourth in the 200 meters in 23.92. Both of his were personal bests.
The boys 4X100 relay also won first place in 45.71 with Stansberry, Jagger Ekleberry, Riley Coffman and Schimpf. The same quartet got third in the 3X200 in 1:36.90.
A 4X400 relay comprised of Mason Schimpf, Wood, Loesser and Nally took second in 3:36.11. Schimpf was sixth in 11.92.
Freshman Evan Mullholand took second in the pole vault in 11 feet, 6 inches.
Phoenix Nally and Kolton Wood took 1-2 honors in the 1600 meters Nally hit the line in 4:47.11 and Wood in 4:52.51.
Nolan Kirgis was third in the 3200 meters in 11:48.66.
On the girls side the 4X800 relay of Emerson Gurney, Cara Peterson, Eva Johnson and Izzy Lawson took second place in 11:34.71.

Hopewell-Loudon Invitational
BASCOM — Buckeye Central took part in the Mark Smith Memorial Invitational at Hopewell-Loudon High School and sponsored by Tiffin Calvert.
The boys finished third and the girls fifth out of six teams. H-L won both divisions.
The Buckettes 4X800 relay team got first place in 11:35.898. Samantha Auck took third in the 200 meters in 13:54.291, a personal best.
Angela Figueroa’s time of 6:35.198, a season best, was good enough for third place in the 1600 meters.
Collin Perry placed second in the long jump at 18 feet, 8.75 inches, also a PB. Donald Fourter got third at 16 feet, 2.75 inches. He ran fifth in the 400 meters in 1:00.284, also a personal best.

Keller/Rich River Valley Relays
CALEDONIA — Colonel Crawford boys won this event Friday night. The girls were third in the eight-team event, which Upper Sandusky won.
Dom Dean won the discus at 133 feet, 10 inches and was second in the shot put at 46-7. Payne DeGray took third at 42-2.5.
Three boys relay teams took firsts — 4X100 (Connor McMichael, Roen Thew, Avery Powers, Jacob Cochran) in 45.30; 4X200 (Hayden Spears, Thew, Powers and Cochran) in 1:37.22 and the 4X800 of Luke Skaggs, Landon Strausbaugh, Shawn Auck and Isaac Stirm in 9:17.21.
Also, the 800-sprint medley relay team of McMichael, Thew, Powers and Cochran took top honors in 1:40.38. The 4X110 shuttle hurdle relay of Powers, Brock Lisle, Kyle Smith and Thew came in first in 1:06.14.
Auck, Stirm, Wyatt Burge and Christian Mott got third in the 4X1600 relay in 20:24.73.
Robin Ehmann took second in the girls shot put at 31 feet, 11 inches. Emmi Powers finished second in the high jump at 4 feet, 8 inches.
Brooklyn Good got fourth in the long jump at 13 feet, 8 inches with Ansley Witter fifth at 13 feet, 6.25 inches, a PB.
The 4X800 relay took second with Brynn Bruner, Sophia Keller, Emily Schwenning and Rylinn Edgington in 11:09.47. The 800 SMR got second also as Good, Ella Agee, Sydney Rayborn and Lila Plesac timed at 2:04.43.
