GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Galion Community Theatre (GCT) is gearing up for its large-scale production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, which will run over two weekends in November, the theatre announced.

Cast members Raven and Amanda discussed the production, noting that rehearsals have been underway since August for the musical adaptation of the Victor Hugo novel. Performances will be held Friday and Saturday, November 7 and 8 at 7:30 p.m., with the second weekend of shows on Friday and Saturday, November 14 and 15 at 7:30 p.m., and a Sunday matinee on November 16 at 2 p.m.

In addition to the main stage show, GCT is hosting its final three-monthly free movies of the year, starting with The Nightmare Before Christmas on Monday, October 20.

GCT will also host its annual membership celebration and 2026 season announcement on Sunday, November 9, from 3 to 5 p.m. Membership to GCT, which supports the all-volunteer organization, starts at $45 and includes tickets and concessions.
