BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—On Tuesday morning, Mennel Milling, located at 960 Nevada Road, reported a chlorine leak at its wheat processing plant.
The incident has been classified as a HAZMAT operation, prompting a response from local authorities.
Bucyrus Safety Service Director Tommy Starner, along with personnel from the Crawford County Emergency Management Agency is currently on-site managing the situation. Officials have stated that the leak has been contained and is less severe than initially anticipated.
There are no road closures or traffic delays related to the incident.
