BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—North Central Electric Cooperative is gearing up for a summer of member engagement with the announcement of its annual Member Appreciation Day at Cedar Point and its upcoming virtual annual meeting.
Speaking with Randy Bigley on the “Community Spotlight,” Holly Storrow from North Central Electric shared details about these upcoming events.
The fifth annual Member Appreciation Day will take place at Cedar Point, offering members the opportunity to purchase up to four tickets for just $25 each. This discounted price includes park admission, a catered BBQ-style lunch at a park pavilion, and parking. Tickets can be purchased online through a banner on the cooperative’s website, ncec.org, and will be on sale until June 3.
North Central Electric’s annual meeting is scheduled for June 10 at 6:00 p.m. and will be held virtually for the second year. Storrow encouraged members to register online to attend, emphasizing the importance of democratic member control within the cooperative.
Members who register for and attend the virtual annual meeting will receive a $25 credit on their electric bill. Registration details can be found via a banner on the ncec.org website. Members without computer access can call the office at 419-426-3072 to register by phone. Information about registration will also be available in the June issue of Ohio Cooperative Living magazine.
