The event will take place on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, OH. The address is 7721 Steam Corners Rd., Lexington, OH 44904. Admission to the event is free, though attendees will be required to sign a waiver to enter the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
The highlight of the day will be the Electric Vehicle Races, scheduled from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. An awards ceremony will follow from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Throughout the school year, each team has been dedicated to building their electric vehicles. Their process began with extensive research and design, considering various aspects such as the frame, steering, braking, gearing, power, and drive options. The students aimed to find the optimal combination to achieve the best overall performance and energy efficiency in their creations.
On race day, the students will have the opportunity to display and race their electric, autonomous, and experimental vehicles.
