GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Galion Public Library is hosting a series of community events in February, inviting residents of Crawford County and beyond to participate.
Coffee and Coloring will take place on Wednesday, February 12, from 2:00-4:00 PM at the Three Bean Coffee House in Galion. This monthly event is open to all ages, though children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Coloring supplies are provided for free, with attendees only needing to purchase their drinks.
Adult Craft Night is scheduled for Wednesday, February 19, from 6:00-8:00 PM in the library’s Community Room. This month’s theme is “Love Notes…to Yourself!” Participants will craft letters to their past, present, and future selves. The event is designed for adults, but those 16 and under can attend with an adult.
The library is also offering one-on-one technology, writing, and social media assistance for adults (18+). Appointments are available on February 5, 10, 24, and 26, with slots at 1:30 and 3:00 PM. Patrons can sign up via the library’s website or social media.
Adult Game Night will be held on Monday, February 25, from 5:30-7:30 PM in the Community Room. Attendees (17+, 16 and under with an adult) can enjoy snacks and refreshments while playing games like Rummy-O, card games, and board games.
Finally, the In-Person Yap Club will meet on Wednesday, February 27, from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Community Room. This new monthly program encourages socializing with provided snacks and conversation prompts.
