BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Crawford County Chamber of Commerce, formerly known as the Bucyrus and Galion-Crestline Chambers, has officially rebranded as of January. Casie Grau, from the Crawford County Chamber of Commerce, joined Randy to discuss the exciting changes and upcoming events.
“We are officially now the Crawford County Chamber of Commerce and rocking and rolling with all of the stuff that’s kind of attached to that. It’s been a good start to the year for us,” Grau said. The Chamber has launched a new website, crawfordcountychamber.org, and a new Facebook page to keep the community informed about events and initiatives.
The merger of the Bucyrus and Galion-Crestline Chambers into the Crawford County Chamber of Commerce aims to serve the entire county more effectively. “We serve the entire county and really look forward to getting into some of those nooks and crannies that maybe we haven’t served well in the past,” Grau added.
The Chamber’s first official event of the year is a Chamber Chat in Galion on February 5 at Carrie’s Venue. This traditional event offers coffee, networking opportunities, and a guest speaker. Later in the month, on February 25, the Chamber will host its annual Forecast Breakfast at the Loft at Pickwick. Doors open at 7:30 a.m., with speakers starting at 8:00 a.m. The event will feature insightful talks from various speakers, including Jim Spreng, who will provide an economic forecast for the year.
In March, the Chamber will oversee the Galion Safety Council’s Health and Wellness event at Real Life Church in Galion on March 20. The event is free for vendors and the community, offering information on health and wellness.
The Chamber is also working closely with Crestline’s Community Development team to ensure impactful activities throughout the year. “We see that area as a great place for us to build relationships and really support that area better,” Grau noted.
For more information on these events and other initiatives, visit the Chamber’s new website and Facebook page. The Chamber encourages the community to stay connected and participate in the various events planned for the year.
