Bonnita Grau (Neumann), 77, formerly of Bucyrus, died Sunday morning, November 17, in her home in Edinburg, Texas after a brief illness.

Bonnie was born June 4, 1947 in Bucyrus to Clair and Adeline (Cowgill) Beach. She was a hairdresser for many years, owning her own salon, Headlines Hair Company, in Bucyrus. For a time, she also owned Headlines Travel. She retired in 2001 for health reasons, moving to Edinburg afterward for warmth and sunshine. Bonnie had a competitive streak, winning many trophies while bowling in local leagues and taking her friends’ money when she beat them in poker at local social clubs. She was always up for a challenge; she even tried skydiving. She loved quilting and crocheting, leaving a legacy of love that will keep her family and friends wrapped in warmth and comfort.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Karl Grau; a son, Steven (Donita) Neumann; a daughter, Angela (David) Stadler; and two stepdaughters, Leeann (Jeremy) Grau and Karen Grau Benedum; a niece, Tammy (Ron) Orewiler; two brothers, Dick (Fran) Beach and Ed Beach; a brother-in-law, Chuck (Carla) Grau; and a sister-in-law, Kathy (Jim) Cover.  Bonnie was proud to have seven grandchildren:  Amanda (Austin) Nolen; Olivia (Michael) Glover; Erica Stadler; Jesseca (Ryan) Tomlin; Dylan Benedum; Rachel (Rafael) Garcia; and seven great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Callie, Clara, Harrison, Kamden, Paisley, and Emery.

She is preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Bob Cady; and two nephews, Greg (Kathy) Cady and Rob Cady.

Per her wishes, there will be no services.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
