Two runs would be all the Graders needed on Thursday night as they defeated the Lake Erie Monarchs by a final of 2-1. Strong outings from all three Grader arms helped the team pick up its 13th win on the season.

Starter Kody Brown got the victory as he went four innings and only allowed four hits and he struck out two. Josh Petterson worked two scoreless innings striking out two. While Brody Basilone went three strong innings with two K’s as he picked up the save.

Hunter Clanin was the spark offensively for the Graders. He tallied a hit, and RBI, and a run scored. The Graders are back in action tomorrow as they again take on the Monarchs from Flat Rock Field with the first pitch at 7:05.
