Calling all culinary connoisseurs! Galion Public Library will host three food-related events in late August for your gustatory glee:
COOKBOOK CLUB – Desserts [Tues., Aug. 20, 6 – 8 pm]
Bring a dessert to share with this seasonally-meeting club, and bring some cookbooks to show off or trade, too, if you like!
HISTORY OF PIONEER COOKING with Mike Hocker [Sat., Aug. 24, 10:30 am – 12 noon]
Join history expert Mike Hocker as he “edu-tains” on “all that America has brought to the table” – pun intended – with a slide presentation and Q&A.
GLUTEN-FREE COOKING with Dotty Young [Mon., Aug. 26, 6 – 8 pm]
Learn from Dotty Young the reasons why some people go “GF” as well as how to shop and bake the GF way. (Plus, Dotty will be bringing cupcakes!)
All of these events will be held in the GPL Community Room. All three events are free, but registration is required. Please call the library at 419-468-3203 or stop by the Circulation Desk to register. We look forward to seeing you!
