Michael Buckley, age 79, of Nevada, and most recently of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, left this world behind on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Vancrest of Upper Sandusky.
Michael was born on October 20, 1944, in Tiffin, Ohio, to the late Carlos and Marguerite (Noggle) Buckley. He married Lynda (Goodman) Buckley and she survives in Upper Sandusky.
He is also survived by a son, Troy Buckley of Sycamore, and a daughter, Cynda (Sam) Gandee of Nevada. Along with a sister, Karen Kochensparger of Kenton.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, a son Todd Buckley, and 2 brothers, Joseph Buckley, and David Buckley.
Michael was employed for many years at Swan Rubber Company in Bucyrus. He attended the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Nevada for most of his life, and taught Sunday School for many years. He had a love for God’s word and loved to quote scriptures.
Although we rejoice with him in his transition from this life to the next, he will be missed.
Funeral services for Michael Buckley will be held at 2:00pm Monday, June 3, 2024 at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Rev. Sam Gandee and Steve Sturgeon officiating. Burial will follow at Nevada Cemetery.
Visitations will be held on Monday, June 3, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home.
