MARION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—In a historic move, the Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE) will be endorsing three candidates vying for positions on the Marion City School Board.
OAPSE Union Vice-President, Matt Beam, made the announcement, highlighting the union’s support for these candidates who prioritize the interests of students and non-certified employees.
Kathy Swanger, Evan Geyer, and Frank Volenik, all of whom possess relevant experience in the classroom or coaching, have been deemed as the most suitable candidates by the union.
Above all, the union believes that these endorsed candidates will effectively collaborate with the administration to establish and implement policies that foster a safe and productive environment for both students and staff.
