CRAWFORD COUNTY—The Crawford County History Alliance (CCHA) recently wrapped up its highly anticipated summer passport program, which featured two weekends of immersive bus trips to explore all the museums and attractions that the county has to offer. Now, participants are encouraged to submit their completed passports for a chance to win exciting prizes.
Passports can be turned in until the deadline of October 12, and submission options include the Lowe-Volk Nature Center, located at 2401 S. R. 598 in Leesville. Additionally, participants can drop off their passports at either the Bucyrus or Galion-Crestline Chamber of Commerce offices or mail them to CCHA, care of Galion History Center, P.O. Box 125, Galion, OH 44833. Importantly, passports do not require all stamps to be eligible for prizes, making it easier for everyone to participate.
The much-anticipated prize draw will take place during the upcoming Spooktacular event in Bucyrus on October 21. Among the exciting rewards, a grand prize featuring a Bucyrus Copper Kettle Works kettle will be awarded. Numerous other prizes will also be up for grabs, and winners need not be present at the drawing as they will be notified accordingly.
A total of twelve county organizations actively participated in this event, which commenced with a lively history fair and continued to showcase various historical attractions throughout the summer months. This collaborative effort allowed participants to explore and appreciate the rich history and culture of Crawford County.
For those seeking more information or assistance, the Lowe-Volk Nature Center can be reached at 419-683-9000 during their open hours. Don’t miss this opportunity to turn in your passport and potentially win exciting prizes while celebrating Crawford County’s history and heritage.
