Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association will soon begin its 24th season teaching and serving area junior golfers in central Ohio counties of Crawford, Delaware, Hardin, Marion, Morrow, Union, and Wyandot.
Begun in 1987, HOJGA was organized by a group of Marion County businessmen who recognized a need for a junior golf program. Through the years, the non-profit, all volunteer organization continues to believe that the fundamental lessons of golf are the same as those in life.
Today, HOJGA offers clubs for kids, golf seminars, golf camp, 8-tournament tour, year-end appreciation scholarship and award event to juniors age 9-18.
Deadline to register for the golf camp is May 31. Camp will take place on June 4 at Miracle Drive Range in Marion.
