The Galion Middle School will host one of the highest acclaimed motivational speakers in the country April 16. His name is Ron Bachman, and his story is unlike anything you have ever heard.
Bachman was born with a genetic disease that caused the amputation of his legs at an early age. When most kids were learning how to walk on their feet, Bachman was learning how to walk on his hands. Not only did Bachman make the most of his situation, he has accomplished more than most “typical” people could in ten lifetimes. His story is one of incredible inspiration and he will be sharing his experience with the 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in the Galion City School District.
The assembly will begin at 1 p.m. and is available at no cost to the public thanks to Buckeye Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge of Shelby as part of their community outreach program. Please join us for the entire presentation or any portion you can fit in to your daily schedule.
If you have any questions, please contact Galion Middle School Guidance Counselor Lisa Zupan at 419-468-3134.
