It was a barn burner in North Robinson between the Colonel Crawford Eagles and Carey Blue Devils in the final game of the regular season Friday night.

The game was decided on a missed Carey 3 pointer that sealed a 52 to 49 victory for the Eagles.

Colonel Crawford boys basketball 9Colonel Crawford led 31 to 29 at the half, but found themselves tied going into the fourth at 35 to 35.

Colonel Crawford was led by Todd Entenmann’s 17 points and Dylan Gulley’s 16 points.

The Blue Devils who finish at 18 and 4 on the season and 14 and 4 in the N-10 were led by Zachary Boes who put up 16 points. Abel La Roche added 13 points to the Blue Devils cause.

Colonel Crawford who wrapped up the N-10 championship with a 17 and 1 league record and a 21 and 1 overall record will play the winner between Crestview and Margaretta in the sectional final at 7:15 p.m. Friday in Shelby.

In a preview of next week’s sectional semifinal in Oak Harbor the Bucyrus Redmen visited the Wynford Royals Friday night.

In a back and forth game that featured 4 ties and 12 lead changes, Wynford took over the game in the fourth quarter with the game tied at 40 by going on a 7 to 0 run. After the 7 to 0 run Wynford would cruise to a 62 to 50 victory.

Hunter Miller led the Royals with 17 points. Alex Crall scored 15, and Keaton Teynor added 15 points to a Wynford team that finishes the season with a 12 and 9 record and an 11 and 7 record in the N-10.

Bucyrus who finishes with an 11 and 9 overall record and a 9 and 9 reocrd in the N-10 was led by Dalon King’s 15 points.

Both teams will play each other at 7 p.m. Tuesday night at Oak Harbor High School in the sectional semifinals.

Leading in 3 of the 4 quarters, and capped off by an 18 to 3 third quarter Buckeye Central coasted to a 52 to 39 victory over Mohawk.

Austin Wurm led the Bucks’ offensive attack with 17 points, Seth Ollis and Cole Stacklin both added 12 points to the Buck’s attack.

Mohawk, who finishes 3 and 15 in the N 10 and 3 and 19 overall, was led by Brayden Dunlop’s 11 points and Gunnar Johnson’s 10 points.

Buckeye Central who finishes the season 14 and 8 overall with a 12 and 6 record in the N-10 will play Danbury in the sectional semifinal at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Crestline boys basketball 6Crestline finished their season at home against Upper Sandusky, and while the Bulldogs kept it close through the first period, the Rams ran away with a 60 to 39 victory.

Crestline who had a 7 to 4 lead in the first period were led by Nate Coffman who scored 11 points in the game.

Upper Sandusky, who finishes the seson with a 16 and 6 record and a 14 and 4 record in the N-10, was led by Westin Vent’s 19 points, and Cody Clifford’s 11 points.

Crestline finishes the regular season with a 4 and 18 record and a 2 and 15 record in the N-10 will play St. Mary Central Catholic at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in Norwalk.

In other action around the N-10 Ridgedale defeated Shekinah Christian 69 to 38 in a make-up game from January 12. Ridgedale finishes their season with a 5 and 13 N-10 record 6 and 16 overall.
