LEXINGTON, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW) — The Lexington Blueberry Festival will return this summer with a revised schedule, a stacked lineup of national and regional entertainment, and the return of traditional mechanical rides.
Organizers announced the four-day festival will take place Thursday, Aug. 20, through Sunday, Aug. 23, at Lexington Community Park. The festival, traditionally held during the third week of August, shifted its dates back one week to avoid conflicting with the neighboring Richland County Fair.
“Because of the way the county fairs align, we happened to be on the same weekend as the Richland County Fair, which is right down the street from us,” said festival organizer Jeff Angelini during an interview with Randy Bigley. “So we pushed back. This year it is actually August 20 through the 23rd.”
The festival kicks off Thursday evening with a “Meet the Teams” night and a small lighted parade.
Friday highlights include a large car show and continuous live music on the main stage. Saturday’s entertainment will feature Sorella, a vocal group best known for their appearance on NBC’s The Voice. Sorelle will perform ahead of a multi-minute fireworks display, followed by a post-show encore performance.
Sunday’s schedule begins with the annual Blueberry Festival Parade at 2 p.m., followed immediately by a performance from Cleveland-based band Recess.
In addition to live music, the 2026 event features several new attractions, including the Queen City Circus, a kids’ trackless train, and a return to traditional mechanical rides through a new ride vendor.
Food vendors will also offer a wide selection of blueberry-inspired menu items, which are required for all participating food merchants. Fan favorites like blueberry cheeseburgers will return alongside several new food offerings.
