The City of Bucyrus will begin its annual flushing of fire hydrants throughout the city. The flushing process will continue, Mondays through Fridays, from now through the month of September.
Discolored water may temporarily be present in homes and businesses when hydrants are flushed. The city advises that cold water should be flushed through a faucet until the water runs clear again.
