A three-month investigation into heroin trafficking was concluded Wednesday morning when officers from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the Bucyrus and Galion police departments and the METRICH Enforcement Unit, executed a search warrant at 117 Fisher St., Bucyrus, OH.

Pursuant to the warrant heroin, syringes, U.S. currency and suspected stolen property were recovered inside the residence. Arrested during the search were 43-year-old Gary Wayne Gallant, 30-year-old Andrea D. Sheppard, and 31-year-old Tyler J. Fulton. All three individuals were from Bucyrus. Gallant and Sheppard, both residents of the home, had been charged with trafficking in drugs while Fulton was arrested for drug possession.

The Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation.

In unrelated incidents, Bucyrus police responded to a domestic disturbance at Bucyrus Plaza Tuesday afternoon. Officers arrested 43-year-old Todd Kinn for violating a protection order. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court. Also arrested was 35-year-old Suni Beach on charges of falsification. She was issued a summons to appear in court and was released.

At 9:06 p.m. Bucyrus police arrested 22-year-old Joshua White in the 1400 block of Cullen Ave. on a warrant out of Shelby. He was turned over to the Shelby Police Department. Meanwhile, officers also located 37-year-old Jason Rowe and arrested him on warrants out of Crawford and Marion counties. He was turned over to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers responded to Bucyrus Plaza at 8:05 a.m. Wednesday and arrested Kevis N. Jones on an active warrant from Michigan for absconding parole. Isaac J. Topps was also arrested on an active warrant from Marion County for drug trafficking. Officers confiscated suspected crack cocaine. The incident remains under investigation.
