The Bucyrus City Board of Zoning Appeals has scheduled a meeting for Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. in Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of City Hall. The Board is meeting to discuss the following:

  • SUBJECT 1: Mike Robinett has requested an Area Variance from the Board of Zoning Appeals to allow a 20’ by 50’ addition to the rear of his business structure at 1650 Marion Road (PTOL 446). The lot is located in the General Business Zoning District and development standards require a rear yard of 30’ and a side yard of 20’ when abutting a non-residential district.
  • SUBJECT 2: Hord Livestock Company, Inc. of 1435 Isaac-Beal Road, has requested an Area Variance to allow them to have a parking and loading area using stone or some similar material for the surface of this parking and loading area versus a hard and durable, dustless surface (asphalt or concrete pavement) as referenced in City Ordinance 1189.03 (b). The property is located in the LIC District.
