The Bucyrus Secondary School is excited to announce the start of a new community-focused initiative, “Perk with Burke.” The first session will begin at 9 a.m. in the High School Little Theatre Oct. 30.
Secondary School Principal Dr. Mark Burke started this program to help community members stay up-to-date with the latest happenings in the school.
“This is the community’s school and I want everyone from the community to feel welcome,” Dr. Burke said. “I am hopeful that our community members will come to learn about the initiatives taking place in the Secondary School.”
Attendees will also hear from Secondary School students and tour the buildings. Light refreshments of coffee and snacks will be available, compliments of the Food Service department and Sodexo.
“This is an exciting new venture for Dr. Burke and our Secondary School,” Superintendent Kevin Kimmel said. “I hope the community will spend time with Dr. Burke and our students, learning about the many wonderful programs that allow us to provide a customized and personalized education for every student in the Bucyrus City School District.”
Please contact Dr. Burke at 419-562-7721 or email mburke@bucyrusschools.com with your questions, or for more information, about the morning’s activities.
