High school football reached the midpoint of the season, and in the N-10 there is no clear cut leader.

In WQEL’s Game of the Week Wynford defeated Mohawk 49-7.

Keaton Teynor led the Royals through the air and on the ground amassing 160 yards on the ground on 9 carries for 3 touchdowns. Through the air Teynor went 8 of 13 for 91 yards a touchdown and an interception.

Hayden Rhoades led the Royals’ receiving corps with 3 receptions for 31 yards.

Gunnar Johnson led the Mohawk Warriors in the air going 4 of 12 for 50 yards and an interception.

Kevin Lonsway led the Warriors on the ground gaining 92 yards on 15 attempts.

Austin Shock led Mohawk’s receivers with 48 yards on 4 receptions.

Wynford hosts Crestline next week in their homecoming game.

Buckeye Central traveled to Ridgedale Friday night and returned home the victors as the Bucks cruised to a 38 to 6 victory over the Rockets.

Grant Loy led B.C. in passing going 10 of 24 for 168 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Leading the rushing attack for Buckeye was Cody Roberts. Roberts ran for 122 yards on 14 carries.

Scott Heydinger led B.C. receivers with 106 yards on 5 receptions.

Kole Fiser led the Rockets passing with 8 completions on 14 attempts for 117 yards and a touchdown.

Jared Wisniewski led Ridgedale on the ground with 33 yards on 15 attempts. Wisniewski scored Ridgedale’s lone touchdown on a 40 yard reception.

Jacob Cannon led the Rockets in receiving grabbing 3 receptions for 54 yards.

Buckeye Central travels to Bucyrus next week.

It was homecoming night for Colonel Crawford as they took on Bucyrus. Clay Martin was crowned Homecoming King for the Eagles with Kristen Teglovic being crowned Queen.

Bucyrus had other plans though as they defeated Colonel Crawford 29 to 27.

Bucyrus takes on Fremont St. Joe next week. Colonel Crawford hosts Ridgedale for their week six matchup.

Galion didn’t fare much better in their homecoming contest as they were defeated by the Jonathan Alder Pioneers. Justine Yunker was crowned homecoming Queen for the Tigers. Galion hosts Upper Sandusky next Friday.

In other action around the county Crestline was upended by Carey 62-0.
