The Mohawk golf team clinched the Northern 10 golf tournament at Valley View Golf Course on Sept. 16. In the inaugural tournament, Mohawk narrowly defeated second-place Seneca East by seven points, 340 to 347. Upper Sandusky came in third with 370 followed by Ridgedale (370), Carey (374), Bucyrus (375), Buckeye Central (376), Colonel Crawford (379), Crestline (406), Wynford (414).

Co-medalists for the tournament were Seneca East’s Johnny Diehm and Mohawk’s Chet Margraf, who both shot for 80 on the 18-holf course.
