An Indiana man entered a guilty plea in Crawford County Common Pleas Court Wednesday but it may take a little bit longer before he finds out the cost of his misdeeds.
Forty-four-year-old Christopher Owens of Grovertown, Indiana, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, a third-degree felony.
Judge Russell Wiseman ordered a pre-sentence investigation and ordered Owens to be held in jail until his next court date. A sentencing hearing will be set for a later date.
Thirty-one-year-old Jamie Weithman was in court for community control violations. Weithman has been on probation since 2012 after pleading guilty to drug possession. Attorney Tim O’Leary was appointed as Weithman’s counsel and bond was set at $50,000.
