BUCYRUS—Darren Pfeifer, 46, of Bucyrus pleaded guilty to two counts of rape, each first-degree felonies in Crawford County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday.

In an agreed plea negotiation, Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold sentenced Pfeifer to 10 years on each count to run consecutively for a total of 20 years in prison.

Because of the age of the victim, the Reagan Toakes indefinite sentencing guidelines apply to Pfeifer.

The Ohio Department of Corrections can add up to ten years to Pfeifer’s sentence if he fails to maintain standards of conduct while incarcerated.

Pfeifer will receive jail time credit. Judge Leüthold also declared Pfeifer a tier III sex offender. Upon release from prison, he will be required to report in person to the sheriff of the county where he resides for the rest of his life.

Jeremy Alspach, 22, of Galion pleaded guilty to two counts of domestic violence, one fourth-degree felony punishable with up to 18 months in prison and one third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison.

Judge Leuthold sentenced Alspach to 18 months in prison on each count for a total of 36 months in prison. He will receive credit for jail time served.

Natalee McIntyre, 26, of Bucyrus pleaded guilty to possession of drugs,  a fifth-degree felony, punishable by up to twelve months in prison.

In an agreed plea negotiation Judge Leuthold sentenced McIntyre to 8 months in prison. She will receive jail time credit.
